Languages Overview
Skills, examples, framework docs, guides, and compatibility information live under a programming-language root. Platform documentation stays outside this hierarchy so each AI coding tool can support multiple languages.
Current languages
Section titled “Current languages”JavaSpring Boot, Helidon, and Jetty frameworks with bootstrap skills, examples, guides, and a compatibility matrix.
Documentation layout
Section titled “Documentation layout”Under each language root you will find:
| Section | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Frameworks | Programming models independent of any one skill |
| Skills | Installable bootstrap and extension skills |
| Examples | Runnable reference applications |
| Guides | Cross-cutting practices (testing, security, modernization) |
| Compatibility | Platform × skill status matrix |
Adding languages later
Section titled “Adding languages later”When additional languages are introduced:
- Create a new directory under
/languages/<language>/. - Mirror the frameworks / skills / examples / guides structure.
- Add top-level cross-language skill and example indexes only after more than one language exists.
- Keep platform pages language-agnostic and link into language-specific skill pages.
